Maple-Glazed Smoked Pork Chops with Sautéed Apples

There’s just something about fall that makes you want to slow down and savor the simple, comforting meals that remind you of home. These Maple-Glazed Smoked Pork Chops with Sautéed Apples are exactly that—a dish that brings all the cozy, warm flavors of the season to your table. The combination of the lightly smoked pork chops with the sweet, caramelized apples and a rich maple glaze feels like a little celebration of fall.

What I love most about this recipe is how the flavors work together. The smoky richness of the pork, the tart sweetness of the apples, and that touch of maple make each bite feel like a perfect balance of savory and sweet. Pair it with roasted vegetables or a simple side salad with toasted nuts or warm dinner rolls to soak up all the delicious juices!

The smoked pork chops are a NEW product for us! Because the smoked pork chops are fully cooked (via the smoking process) this meal comes together quickly, making it perfect for those busy nights when you still want to sit down to a home-cooked meal with your family. It’s simple, it’s delicious, and it brings all the best flavors of fall together on one plate. Enjoy!

Maple-Glazed Smoked Pork Chops with Sautéed Apples

Ingredients:

  • 2 smoked pork chops

  • 2 medium apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), cored and sliced

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup

  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • Pinch of salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the maple glaze: In a small bowl, mix the maple syrup and apple cider vinegar. Set aside.

  2. Sauté the apples: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the apple slices, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples are tender and lightly caramelized.

  3. Cook the pork chops: In a separate pan, heat the smoked pork chops over medium heat, searing each side for 2-3 minutes until they are warmed through and slightly crispy on the edges.

  4. Glaze the pork chops: Once the pork chops are warm, reduce the heat to low and pour the maple glaze over them. Let the glaze simmer for 1-2 minutes, flipping the chops to ensure they’re fully coated.

  5. Serve: Plate the smoked pork chops and top them with the sautéed apples. Drizzle any remaining glaze from the pan over the top.
